Benny holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws, both from the National University of Singapore. He has been in legal practice in Singapore as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore since 1997.

Benny is currently a partner at Chris Chong & CT Ho LLP, and heads its fund management and corporate practice. He has extensive experience in fund management and investment advisory matters, financial services regulatory compliance, and the structuring and establishment of Singapore and offshore funds, including Singapore variable capital companies (VCCs).

He has acted for sponsors and fund managers of private equity funds, real estate funds, hedge funds, fund-of-funds, Shariah-compliant funds, and restricted Singapore and foreign schemes, as well as family offices and the private banking and wealth management arms of offshore banks.

He also regularly advises fund management and financial intermediary clients on regulatory and licensing issues, including applying for capital markets services licences, financial advisers’ licences, and the applicable exemptions from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Benny’s other main areas of practice are corporate finance, private and public mergers and acquisitions, cross-border joint ventures and private equity investments, and regulatory compliance for listed companies and registered charities. He travels regularly in the Asia Pacific region advising clients on a wide range of matters, and has represented multinational clients, government-linked companies, and listed and private companies in various transactions ranging from share purchases, asset acquisitions and disposals, shareholders’ agreements, greenfield and infrastructure projects, initial public offerings in Singapore, placements and rights issue, privatizations, corporate restructurings and re-organisations, and scheme of arrangement.

Benny also advises Singapore-listed companies on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters. He is currently the company secretary to several public companies listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, as well as numerous Singapore private companies.

Benny has also been appointed to the board of various listed companies in Singapore as independent non-executive director since 2007.

With decades of experience working as a certified accountant, including over 10 years in the CSP (Corporate Services Provider) industry, Eileen specializes in corporate tax advisory, trust accounting, and financial management, with a strong focus on optimizing business operations and ensuring compliance.

Prior to joining JBL Corporate Services, Eileen held senior positions at InCorp Global Pte Ltd and Hawksford Singapore Pte Ltd. In these roles, she gained extensive experience in managing a wide range of corporate services, including tax advisory, financial reporting, and trust accounting for clients across various industries.

Eileen has in-depth knowledge of the Singapore accounting and tax landscape and is well-versed in the application of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS). She works closely with clients to streamline financial processes, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce tax liabilities.

Her expertise includes managing full-cycle accounting, preparing financial statements, budgets, cash flow, management reports, tax computations, and trust accounting, helping clients improve their financial processes and achieve long-term success.

Eileen is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants Singapore (CA Singapore) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Additionally, she holds the Singapore Tax Accredited Tax Professionals (Tax Practitioner) certification for Income Tax and GST.

Mei Kuan brings over 10 years of extensive experience in full-spectrum accounting management. Her expertise spans bookkeeping, tax services, payroll administration, comprehensive financial reporting, and financial advisory. She has worked across a diverse range of industries, including Retail, Professional Consultancy, Engineering, Advertising, and Construction.

Her areas of practice encompass not only the preparation of management reports, financial statements, statutory filings, and tax computations, but also in-depth involvement in payroll services, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Withholding Tax (WHT) compliance.

Having held roles both as an outsourced client accountant and in commercial accounting, Mei Kuan possesses a well-rounded perspective on the differing demands and expectations of these two distinct environments. Her experience has enabled her to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, while consistently demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to shared goals.

Mei Kuan holds a Master of Accounting from Curtin University, Singapore, and is a Chartered Accountant accredited by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
